Maybe because these calipers are 914-6 replicas? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) 9146-GT rear calipers were 914-6 rears with a 10mm spacers. They also used a unique vented rotor that was the diameter of the /6 rotor (286mm) but 20mm wide instead. I believe this rotor is the same as the one on the 916 (part number below). 911 rear rotors are 289mm diameter so... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Below are the various rear rotor dimensions I believe the outer half of the 914-6 rear caliper is 911 M rear caliper part, so only only the inner half is 914-6 specific. 914-4 rear rotor: Dia: 282mm Thk: 9.4mm 914-6 rear rotor: Dia: 286mm Thk: 10.5mm 914-6 GT rear rotor: Dia: 286mm Thk: 20mm P/N 901-352-041-12 (same as 916) |

Correct on the # 901-352-041-12 , we have those on #40 Sonauto (IMG:style_emoticons/default/number40_914.jpg) Out of curiosity. I did a search online but couldn't find them available anywhere. Do you have a source in case you would need at set? They must be available somewhere... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

Marty might have nos or a special source (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) but it’s so easy to have SC rotors trimmed down that I wasn’t looking that hard. From what I heard Eric say in the past, they are also quite expensive. |
