Sent pictures, told "not service effecting, only cosmetic". Looks like it will hit. Options given, repair myself or return. Mostly annoyed.

Yeah, that's really off. Those look freshly anodized, as if they werent in the original assembly... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

I remenber playing with that when I rebuilt mine and the best I could do as far as alignment was this (pictures below). OK, but not great, especially second picture . (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Now how to refinish them... I would like the aluminum S look. Was actually thinking about powder coating some kind of brushed aluminum finish... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
