Sent pictures, told "not service effecting, only cosmetic". Looks like it will hit. Options given, repair myself or return. Mostly annoyed.

Is this simply a matter of the spacer sections not being cast correctly/symmetrically and therefore requiring a need to get them back exactly where they were at before disassembly? - or maybe these guys inverted them or something?
I have a set I will rebuild eventually so I'm looking for the take away on this... maybe they should be scribed with a pinch (multi dot designations on both the spacer and caliper halves) before disassembling ? . |
