Does the felt washer go between the crank & flywheel or between the clutch & flywheel? Can't find that info in Vol 3 of the manuals. TIA, Kent

Its purpose to the prevent the grease in the pilot bearing from slinging out onto the clutch disc. It goes in the flywheel after the pilit bearing

Am I correct in understanding that felt ring part (111-105-311) is unique to the 4 cylinder cars (i.e., 914-4 and 912)? There is no sealing ring on the 914-6, as it has a different pilot bearing (901-102-025-01)?
