Does the felt washer go between the crank & flywheel or between the clutch & flywheel? Can't find that info in Vol 3 of the manuals. TIA, Kent

Does the felt washer go between the crank & flywheel or between the clutch & flywheel? Can't find that info in Vol 3 of the manuals. TIA, Kent As having just done this, the felt washer sits in between the 5 hole washer, and per the FSM it is to be lubricated with a small amount of oil before assembly. The felt washer is 3.2mm thick hence the 3.2mm seating depth (measured from the pilot bearing hole to the pilot bearing on the transmission side of the flywheel) for the pilot bearing. As for a -6 according to the PET (factory parts catalogue) the felt washer is part of the pilot bearing assembly parts 4, 5 and 6. Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s) |
