I've got WORSE!
If you turn your car off in "fresh air" versus "Recirculation" you leave a HUGE hole open into the HVAC system. Most modern cars have a horizontal down draft cabin air filter which makes a "Jim Dandy" nesting surface for rodents. They have their litter of mini rodents on TOP of the air filter which they chew on... You jump in your car and suck those puppies into the blower motor. They DIE! And then they leak! And your car smells like a carcass a few days later... I charge MORE if I'm violently retching during the repairs. Wiping the resultant "scum layer" out of the blower motor housing is a job I'd rather never do again! |
