I live in a very critter-dense area and it's a constant battle. This thing is literally in my backyard:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wallis_Annenb...ldlife_Crossing Not long ago a mouse/rat chewed wiring on my 911 which was $$$$ but thank goodness, they didn't get inside the car. Luckily as far as I know they've left my 914 alone maybe because the newer cars are tastier (plant-based vs petro-based insulation, apparently?) I basically keep snap traps set at all times, but the main thing has been to ensure there are no entry/exit openings and no easily accessible food or nesting materials to unnecessarily attract them from outside. |
