Always thought that all year 914s had a loop for the trunk hinge rods, but just saw that the 74-76 cars do not!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) and i would have thought all of em didn't have a loop like mine. its a jan 74. but i don't get to look at many 914s down here in north antarctica. could it have something to do with shifting the charcoal cannister into the engine bay? do the rods adopt a slightly different position without the loop? asking because if that is the case maybe the changeover is when they move the can from the frunk which is in nov 73. mindless minutia asked by an L jet nutter.
