Just started removing all the overspray by the PO. Tried a bunch of stuff that would not damage the original rubber and settled on brake fluid. Does anyone know what that VOO or 100 means that is on this pad?
put some paper towels and let the brake fluid sit a little. whats with the VOO |

It looks like 100 to me. Quite likely a count for a stack of pads.

It looks like 100 to me. Quite likely a count for a stack of pads. Time Machine. I have never heard of cleaning with brake fluid. Watching with interest! Thanks yea anytime you want to remove paint and not destroy rubber or plastic etc underneath use some cheap brake fluid. I just talked to another 914 guy today that is refurbishing a plastic Exxon sign and was using brake fluid in the same manner. I said no shit I thought that was my invention.
