See the attached pictures. Professionally rebuilt calipers leaking from the mating bolts, not the bleeder and not the piston. One step forward and two back. I depend on quality work from quality people and it seems like I (we)are being let down more and more these days. Really getting pissed at all the so called professionals out there. Is it just one caliper and on the one end? If so perhaps one seal fell out during the installation. The big problem is that you have to take the time to disassemble and make the fix, then rebleed the entire system again. A big time waster when it is so easy to prevent, and you are up against a clock to get it done.
I am sure this just set you off and you needed to vent, and probably to get suggestions as well. I think this has happened in the past, and the quality control slipped again. |
