3.0 engine for sale. Was rebuilt in the early 2000’s but at some point, the car sat outside for a long period of time. We fired it up on the engine stand and it’s running well. I will eventually load the video onto YouTube but you can email or text if you want to see proof of life. The engine comes without exhaust (we need the headers for our test stand runs). Other than that, it seems to be a good running engine with a rebuild history. I would plan on rebuilding the wur and fd. That’s pretty normal to do on cis but in the mean time, everything works.
$14,500 - PM me or email - Mark@MarkEpstein.net

I can ship to your door for the cost of shipping. Usually $250-550 depending on location.

Sorry, photos got jumbled during upload.

What were those rated for regarding power?

Funny story,

They wheeled one of those into my A&P classes (early 90s) and told all the students The Porsche/Mooney has a super complex fuel injection system, and they SHOULD not try to repair these in the field...

I raised my hand and said WTF! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)
Every Rabbit/Volvo/ last decade European car has the system and that the one on that engine was the early "Non-Lamba" version.
Then I started laughing...
They asked WTF? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)
I replied "Porsche had a bunch of these left over, can't sell them anywhere now, and pawned them off on the aviation world..."

They asked me "Wanna teach class this session?"

So, I taught CIS in a College classroom a decade before they actually hired me as an "Adjunct Instructor" for automotive classes.
