I removed my chewed up 3-wire plastic plug at the relay board where the Alternator plugs in. I replace the three spades with modern copper spades - but they have no locking tabs (so I can not use the plastic plug). I thought it would be fine without the plug .. but the wires feel a little loose plugged in separately. So I want to ad a replacement 3-wire plug at the relay board. Anyone know what size the lock tab female spade connector are? I see that belmetric has 6.3, but I'm thinking they may need to be bigger..?

Amp/Tyco makes terminals such as these. They name them Fastons. For example, here is the web page (page 7) for a .250" (6.3mm) terminal for the 10 - 12 AWG wire size:

https://www.te.com/en/plp/faston/ZnaA.html?...e&instock=N

Scroll down the page to the 250 FASTON, REC., 12-10 AWG, TBPR. Look to the right for the TE part number. This p/n is used to order the terminals or to reference the part if you use a retail source. Also, you can click on its link to get a more detailed description of the terminal.

Look for more Fastons listed that fit your application on the other pages. Just be sure to use the correct crimping tooling for the terminal you choose so you get a gas tight crimp for long lasting service.

Lastly, there are retail outlets on places like Amazon or Ebay that will sell small lot quantities...
