"Oh you like cars? Want a project?"
. . . and so it begins Sitting in a sort of covered shed for 28 years in North Idaho. 1.8 Motor is locked solid. The starter did try. We also tried to drag it in 5th gear. Front calipers are locked. Rust in the usual places, but the rust does not seem as bad as many I have seen. Floors are solid. All the rubber seals seem to be perished. ~30 years old KYB Struts! We will be tearing it completely down. Fixing the body and then putting it back together one system at a time. Please bare with me as I ask stupid questions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) The engine might have been salvageable if you had taken it out and split the case. Now it is for certain ruined and needs a complete rebuild (or be tossed out). Anyways, good luck with your project. We've all been there, some more than once.
