Every time I use the belt this happens. Can’t think of how I may have incorrectly installed the seatbelt. The webbing is new and mechanism rebuilt by reputable supplier.

Could be a twist (or half twist) in the free part of the belt, so every time it retracts it carries the twist into the anchor?
