Initial thoughts: Have a light (Dunkin, sandwiches, & coffee) breakfast at a central place I have in mind on east side of Morristown, off I-287, at 7:30 then wheels up at 9:14am (thanks Oscar for the idea!) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) for a series of 45-60 min drives through Jockey Hollow and western NJ. Done by 1pm or so. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)
Details to follow. Ideas welcome! |

A lot to be said about quality control at this place, but they are just cookies! Hey Star Bear....... No QC required......your creativity on your 914 Cookies is AWESOME......... for sure.....no 2 alike.....each an original! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) Sorry for my late post. I laugh everytime I see your cookie pictures. I just couldn't let this go without some comments and big ATTA BOYS! (I too have made those 914 cookies but not nearly as original and creative as yours! I made them as tree ornaments (non edible) and gave them out to a bunch of teeners before we did a drive up to Malibu.) And .... congrats on your great 914 Porsche Day you planned for your teeners. I've really enjoyed looking at the postings and videos that were done by you and other groups and I'm very proud to have owned mine since 1977 (after owning a 1973 914-1.7 and another 914-6). I really enjoyed taking my 1970 914-6 (adriatic blue) to the SoCal (LA/OC/IE & SD) Worldwide 914 Porsche Day 2024 event. We had a great turnout of about 24 914s for a brunch hosted by Oscar and Elvira There's a great video with some cool drone footage capturing these beautiful, all colors of the rainbow 914s. We are so fortunate to have so many enthusiasts of these 914s...... I sure do notice that when I go to a Cars & Coffee, the people really crowd around the 914s! So great sharing my enthusiasm for the 914 with them. (I am a 50 year member of PCA). So, again, congrats on your event and so glad you and your group had a great day! I was back your way with my 1.7 in about 1975 and loved driving your twisting roads) Until next year ...... 9/14 falls on a Sunday.... Cheers, Margie (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/margie_914.jpg) P.S. OK......Can you try to include the lug nuts on your cookies next time ? Oh heck, how about the VIN#??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) |
