Question: what can I use to re-glue my door window to the metal channel. The old glue don’t glue no more. This is the metal c-channel on the front edge of the window glass that slides up & down in the vent window frame.
Thanks! |

I've done this with windshield urethane, but I was off by just the smallest amount on the angle of the slider (1974 car). That gets amplified at the end of the window. I can't quite get the gaps right now... Just something to think about. That's THE problem with urethane... Once it "sets" you are SCREWED! I've not been able to free a window installed with urethane without breaking the window yet! I've got a good glass guy that can. |
