While working on an unrelated issue, I lost the brake lights.
Fuse on #9 is good, how does the brake pedal switch activate the stop lights ? Need to know where to start…… |

' post='3171371' date='Oct 5 2024, 05:33 PM'] How is the switch wired, I’m looking to see where it goes [/quote] They rarely fail. Do you have power at fuse 9 ? What wiring issue were you working on as it sound like it is related. With ignition on, one of the wires at the switch should have power. I would first check for power at the brake light socket then the wire into the housing. I use a stick to depress and hold the pedal down if a helper is not available. If all checks out there then move to the pedals. Attached thumbnail(s) |
