I have this early 1970-71 e-brake handle assembly.

UPDATE There is a bushing present. It was painted over. I also added a clip. I have swapped out the ratchet bracket with a correct one with a hole

Pivot bracket not included. Just showing there is a bushing present.

Why is there no hole in the rachet piece? That is what holds the assembly to the monut.
