I was able to get some time this weekend, at the cost of all of the household chores, to pull the motor so I can start repairing the main seal leak.
I was a bit nervous about doing it for the first time but, It was relatively straight forward and much easier then I thought it would be. Hopefully I can get back to the job this weekend so we can button this thing up and I can start driving it again. Thanks to @ChrisFoley for the engine lift plate. Thing worked like a charm! Pay close attention to the flywheel sealing surface. If you have a groove there - it will never seal properly regardless of what seal you use.
