Hi all, from what I understand, the longs are double thickness? Is it the same all the way through the car, as in the top, bottom, and sides of them? Just trying to understand how these cars are built. Photos would really help. Thanks!

@Brant I’m referring to the piece between the heating duct and the outer sill; maybe the picture doesn’t capture this, but there is no connection between that piece and the duct. I think it was intended to add more rigidity to this part of the structure.
