The not a real six 1972 3.6 914 that sold for $170k is back on BAT
Will it get over $170k again? I doubt it. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-pors...ampaign_2461171 Love the new video https://youtu.be/sIHG8TLuDOw?si=X3sU-GKCjtvdgyYM Mine is similar to this one, but not professionally built and half the price. However, I doubt there is a shop out there that that would build an equivalent car for under $200k |

I hope it does well. its a sweet build but I could never justify the price tag. But I have to say I was a little let down after watching the driving video. I expected it to be more challenging to drive, but power is hard to realize in a video. Based on the video I think my car would give it a run and is more exhilarating. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I have the same setup as this car. 3.6, 915 trans, 1 3/4” MSDS headers and two out muffler. From the outside my previous Euro 3.2 sounded the same. From the inside the 3.6 fan and chains are quieter. I’m still breaking the motor in, but it doesn’t feel like a ton more power over the 3.2, just more refined and I can lug the gears a little more which is nice. I also have a 400 hp SBC 914. No comparison… |
