The not a real six 1972 3.6 914 that sold for $170k is back on BAT
Will it get over $170k again? I doubt it. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-pors...ampaign_2461171 Love the new video https://youtu.be/sIHG8TLuDOw?si=X3sU-GKCjtvdgyYM Mine is similar to this one, but not professionally built and half the price. However, I doubt there is a shop out there that that would build an equivalent car for under $200k |

I have a stock '95 3.6 with a Steve Wong chip and Ben's heat exchangers and a 901 in my car. The thing I like the best is the torque; that engine pulls from 1500 RPM nicely. It is quieter than the 3.2, like Steve observed. I also like the hydraulic lifters- no more valve adjustments. I don't drive my car hard and the 3.6 just runs great. Cruising on the freeway at 75MPH in 5th, about 2700 RPM, I just have to breath on the gas pedal and she is going 100 MPH in the blink of an eye. It was a lot of work, but I love the 3.6.
