Time has come for me to pass along my 914-6 project. My back will physically not allow me to work in the positions necessary to complete this project.

To gain some reference on the status of this project please click on:

Roll down list to Build-Off Challenge - Vysoc / Yellow Sub

This will give you some insight to what has been done and what needs to be done.
It should be noted that the chassis is a 1976 - VIN 4762900508.
The chassis has a clean Georgia Title.
The Flat Six engine you may have seen in the rebuild thread HAS been SOLD, there is no engine with this project, (there are two Transmissions). This chassis has fiberglass flares in place and the engine bay is set up for a flat six Porsche engine.
I have accumulated a great deal of parts, some real nice for this project. I have chassis strengthening and stiffening parts. The hell hole and tunnel have already undergone work, a new floor pan has been welded together and is ready to be welded into place.
If you are handy with the MIG and/or TIG this could be a great opportunity to buy a solid chassis that comes with a ton of parts and two great working jigs.

I am located in Young Harris, Georgia two hours north of Atlanta. The drive is an easy one North on 575 which rolls into 515, 4 lanes until the final 10 miles. I should also mention that the chassis is on rotisserie, I have access to a forklift to transfer it to the painting jig which would be easier to transport.

I have compiled a detailed list of parts that are included in the "PACKAGE"/ sale.
I am looking to sell this as a package and would prefer NOT to sell individual parts. I wish someone would pick up my package and make it into their own!
If it does not sell that way I will then look at other alternatives.
I believe this to be priced very fairly for what the new owner will receive.

I am looking to sell this package for $4,000.00 obo Certified Bank Cashiers Check.

Here comes the parts list, it is quite extensive:

2 - Working Jigs.
Jig #1 - Rotisserie - Chassis is currently attached.
Allows for full 360 degree rotation with locks at 90/180/270 and 360. 5" Casters allow chassis to be rolled around by a single person.

Jig #2 - I call this my Painting Jig - This jig is welded up with 2" square metal tubing.
The chassis attaches at the front and rear suspension hard points. The mounting point elevates the chassis 24" to 30" off of the floor level. A great jig for paint prep. This jig is also on large casters and is easy for one person to roll it around.

Not optimal for the seller but the sale will help another 914 to get restored and back on the road.
