Has anyone here built a 914 Type 4 using the LN Engineering 2563-190 kit?

The cost of a Porsche six can be hard to justify but they are “pretty” engines. Unlike the T4 and most of the alternatives, they look good just sitting on a stand and great in a 911. Turning them around for the 914 looses a lot of the visual appeal but they still have the flat six sound.
The saving grace is that just like real Fuchs, flat six engines typically increase in value. I bought my first 3.2 for $4,500. It was an older rebuild and still runs well. There will always be a market. Or at least that’s one way I justify my hobby. |
