OK, would some wise soul (George/Dr. 914?) please explain to me why there are apparently two different VDO tachs found in 914s...one of which has separate green arrows for left and right turn indicator actuation and the other with a single left side light for both turn indicators and a right-side light indicator that high beam is on?
I refer, of course, to the two small indicator bulbs that sit at the top of the tach face on top-left and top-right? Most cars have separate L/R turn indicator lights, but apparently the Porsche 914 was equipped with both types of tachs? I vaguely recall that the early 914s had the two green arrow indicators type, and later models used the left turn indicator and right high-beam on-indicator type. Thanks in advance.
