Hi Guys,
The devastation of the fires in LA is unimaginable. So many people have lost everything and times like these really hammer home what's important in life...family, friends, pets and health. Of course, our cars add a lot of joy to our lives as well and I fear that many prized vehicles will be lost. I think I speak for everyone when I say "we're here for you". Please post and let us know if there's anything this community can do to help. Let's keep our LA friends in our prayers. |

And what becomes of all of toxic debris during the clean up that will last long after I’m dead? Can’t just shove it off barges into the Pacific. Not to mention the billions of lost property tax $. Those with intact fire insurance that will pay of mortgages for no longer existing structures will be homeless and broke. Millions of people are seriously fucked.

Those with intact fire insurance that will pay of mortgages for no longer existing structures will be homeless and broke. Both Fire and Earthquake insurance have been unavailable for most people here in CA for many years already. I remember i looked into both in 2017 when i bought my house here in the bay area and fire was already no longer available and earthquake was well north of $10k per MONTH.
