OK, guys. Here we go again. I just bought the AUTO ATLANTA 'Euro Turn Signal conversion assembly', which is a set of two bulb holders made from stock aluminum sheeting and bent to (supposedly) conform to the lower section of the US type turn signal assembly housing. After quite a bit of trying to make them fit, I finally gave up and am turning to the forum (once again) to find out exactly what's going with this supposedly "...easy conversion set that has satisfied thousands of Auto Atlanta purchasers"...?

It's pretty clear that however they are supposed to 'easily fit' the turn signal housings, they absolutely do not. Any help with this annoying matter would be most appreciated. Frankly, I'm starting to get a teensy bit irritated with some of the items I've gotten from AUTO ATLANTA (including a pricey replica 914GT double grill engine cover that was rather hastily and sloppily put together), recently.

Nuff sed, but any insights on this would be helpful...

Very nice paint on those housings.

I posted a picture of my 914 with LEDs a couple of posts before. Your picture reminds me to mention that the large LED board does not fit in OEM Euro front light housings. The large board only fits on US-type housings.

Clay had sent me a couple of Euro housings in the hope I'd do some LEDs for it.

The turnsignal part of the Euro LED should be no issue. The white light part is the most challenging as the dividers really cut down on the space available.

Here's a set of Euro white LEDs that I made. The board doesn't sit down as far as I hoped but looks like it should fit. I was able to jam 24 LEDs and as is shown with the larger board, it has 42 white LEDs. My early white/amber boards also had 24 white LEDs.

Even the bulb base connector with the little handle is too tall and the 7 inch wire I usually use is too long and tends to pop the board back out.

@ClayPerrine

Clay, would you want to try out these LEDs? I think they'll fit but it need to be tested out.
