I can't get the shifter springs installed. I thought there was a thread on this but I could not find it. Could anyone share the procedure with me or tell me where I can locate the instructions?

Before you do that, looking at your image you may consider repairing or replacing your shift plate

My car is new to me and I have to carefully shift my car into gears sort of guiding it into the right path for the gears so I don't hit the wrong gear . I also haven't driven a manual now for some years and find the 914 shifter more difficult than manual cars I have driven in the past.I have seen the cool parts you sell and will be doing business with you soon for your brass shift bushings and taco plate kit, actually when I decide to make my purchase can I call first for some advice before I order something? |
