Getting ready to patch up a front fender that I sectioned out to deal with inner rocker and a-pillar rust.
When I removed it, it was welded to a beefy tab that was, in turn, welded to the bottom of the a-pillar/door post. The tab attached to the bottom of the front fender, between the fender structural piece and the door opening. Is the fender supposed to be attached to the bottom of the door post here, or was this a remnant of previous repairs? If anyone has detailed photos of this section I'd really appreciate them as what I have to go from is crusty and questionable. Thanks! Paul 1975 1.8 |
