2 issues:
1) When I brake the front turn signal goes on along with the brake lights. 2) The flashing parking brake indicator also causes both left and right turn signal indicators to flash. From what I can tell from the electrical schematic both tie into the emergency light switch. Just wondering if I could get some advice before I pull the emergency switch to inspect for defects. Flashing relay is new. |

If the brake bulb loses ground, both filaments will light up and the return path is through the running light in the front turnsignal. About the flashing relay, is it a new unit? What p/n? |

Only the right front turn signal lights up with the brake lights. Part number is 91461830312 from Wehrle. New from Pelican. The brown wire from the taillight shows continuity to the chassis. |

The brown wire from the taillight shows continuity to the chassis. You need to measure the ground at the bulb base. Remove the rear lens on the right side and have someone step on the brake. See if both filaments are lit. If so, then the bulb does not have a ground. In the front, remove the lens and see if the dim filament is lit. Likely the turnsignal filament in the front is not lit. |

I'm a bit confused with the logic, but did as directed and the socket is continuous with the chassis. When pressing on the brake only one rear bulb (center) goes on along with the dimmer front right turn signal. The turn signal light flash normally (outer large bulb) and the outermost small bulb turns on when the signal indicator is activated with ignition off (as I believe it should). Anything other suggestions? before I tear into the emergency switch? |
