With time to debrief on last weeks shakedown, I am looking to try a change to staggered tire dim. Wonder if anyone is comfortable sharing their experience.
Currently have run 225/45R15's all round on 7inchers and 225/50R15 on 7's front and 8's rear. But all my running is on older tires so difficult to draw conclusion. Transitioning from DE to road racing. Basic set up: E-Production, less than 150hp, wide fender, welded diff, 916 brakes. 911 front. 2008 lbs car Appreciate any insight. Thanks, |

Talking about size...
The new C8 Vette put down a 35% SMALLER tire print than the outgoing C7. This is a MONSTER reduction in tire size! It works KICK ASS! And all the magazines reported "Better handling, but MUCH, MUCH better feedback from the car. Turned a car you had to "man handle around" into a flawless ballerina... "The sports car is back" was a common comment! In my book, that was the point that the Corvette went "Supercar"... |
