In searching the internet, I stumbled across this:
https://www.csp-shop.com/en/wheels-brakes/c...30a-15859a.html This is a kit to convert a Super Beetle to big vented rotor brakes using Boxster calipers. Why can't we use it for a 914 owner that wants to keep the 4 lug wheels? The 914 uses the same wheel bearings and seals as the Super Beetle, so it should be a bolt on kit. Imagine a narrow body 914 with 4 lug Fuchs and a six. Or a Subie motor. Or a V-8. What do y'all think??? |

It's been years, someone made 4 lug hubs that used 911 rotors. Can't remember who.

It's been years, someone made 4 lug hubs that used 911 rotors. Can't remember who. Muller designed them. I bought an early pair from Brad. Then I bought the take off s from Jim…: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) With the aluminum Brembo brakes from Eric at PMB the car has more stopping power than I would ever need in a 914. Like positive (engine) horsepower, I don't think there is ever "enough" negative (brake) horsepower. |
