What a great setup. That falcon looks like a cross between a maverick and a Torino. Very cool.
I like that thunderbird too, is it a supercoupe? |

What a great setup. That falcon looks like a cross between a maverick and a Torino. Very cool. I like that thunderbird too, is it a supercoupe? i think its an 85. an elan. heritage elan? its got a strangled small v8. belongs to my mate. he got it cheap 20 years back. story was someone had been shopping for cars in the states and had room for one more in the containers. so they put the car in they had used to drive around in the USA while they had done their car shopping into the container as well. the chunderbird as it is now nicknamed. its nothing special. what you call a cruiser. but still lhd. so fun to get out on the streets every now and then and wallow around corners with - while deriving pleasure from observing the digital dash. the dash is really cool in an 80s idea of the space age way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) as to the falcon hardtop = torino. yes. also the USA 19701/2 ford falcon is part of the mix. -------- @mlindner yes - its a bit of a cathedral of space. used to be a steel fabricators shop - they built big stuff in there. has a crane on a rail overhead which we are trying to see if we can recommission and get going. but first we have a structural engineer mate of mine checking out the state of the structure. all a clear span truss roof, very elegant design. we are on the lookout for some more four poster hoists so we can double stack cars for storing. you can generally pick up second hand four posters pretty cheap. |
