This kit car is on a 914 body. Has anybody seen this before? Do you know what it is or where it came from?

I’m pretty sure from the doors back is a Kelmark GT (were normally on a Beetle chassis / pan). T4 motors were sometimes used in Kelmark’s. The front hood definitely isn’t a Kelmark GT but sorta’ looks like a Rayco kit front end? My guess is that the thing is a cut, paste and hack based off the Kelmark and a one off front end.
Would be curious how they fitted the Kelmark body over a 914 tub assuming that’s really what is underneath all that fiberglass. |
