OK, once more with feeling….
This is the 74 that had the misrouted accelerator cable. That has been removed so now I have what I believe is the original accelerator cable, the arrow is pointing at it, which is good in stock in the tunnel. Even with vice grips on it, I can’t pull it out and it doesn’t really wanna move forward either. I’m going to have to remove this before I install replacement cable so any ideas or suggestions? ![]() |

Philips head wobble technique didn’t work (or at least not yet).
Tried a drill bit (with nice grips so gently) and it’s catching on something. Should I get power to the drill bit to see if I can remove the edge it is catching on? Seem a bit desperate, which wouldn’t be a wrong conclusion at this point. Ha. ![]() |

Bad plan The tube doesn’t go straight for any significant distance and you’ll drill into the side of it (or through it) if not careful.
