My 1974 914 has two 1" OD heavy rubber hoses coming out of the rear firewall near the battery tray. They are both capped off and end under the battery tray. I haven't tried to trace where they go forward. Any idea what these are?

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/thisthreadisworthlesswithoutpics.gif) I’ll take what are A/C hoses for $100 Alex Ive seen some wonky (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) done to 914s but yeah, my first guess is AC hoses as well. Is there a giant hole where your front trunk floor should be? A huge chunk cut out of your passenger side engine shelf? |
