OK, once more with feeling….
This is the 74 that had the misrouted accelerator cable. That has been removed so now I have what I believe is the original accelerator cable, the arrow is pointing at it, which is good in stock in the tunnel. Even with vice grips on it, I can’t pull it out and it doesn’t really wanna move forward either. I’m going to have to remove this before I install replacement cable so any ideas or suggestions?  |

Glad you got it through finally . These treads always help If it wasn't for this site I would have struggled putting my car back together . Many people just read these posts and don't engage as I did for years just because I couldn't figure out how to post a picture. My brother in law constantly told me use the forum but back in the 80's he didn't use posts nor could tell me how just I NEED to get on the forum and ASK. I was intimidated because I read many comments saying "This post is useless with out photo's" so I did not ask questions out of embarrassment that I couldn't add a photo . I would have been driving my car two years sooner if I would have just asked and saved a lot of money and avoided a few mistakes .I love this site ,it's better than watching tv during the day I can see good friends and bonds are made here.
