I came across this GT reinforcement that was made many years ago by John Williamson (RIP), owner of Otto's in Venice.
I am wondering if anyone here is familiar with it? Maybe they have this kit on their car? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) I have figured out where four out of the six panels go, but I am puzzled as for the last two. Where would part 1 and 2 go? These suspension ear 'Weld in place pieces are easy to fab up from 16ga. sheet metal; band saw or jig saw cut.Your can just trace around the ear on car>>cardboard template and cut/ drill.
Once you mig weld a few plug holes, tap around to achieve the contour + finish welding. Long sleeve welders shirt , and a welders sleeve good idea. I still have my left bicep burn tattoo from 1978, while installing 'Automotion kit...and that was burned thru my sleeve (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)  |
