Hi there,
The new engine isn’t anything special—just a stock 2.0 with new headers, new pistons and cylinders, a new oil pump, new camshaft, a new wiring harness, and all the tin repainted. I want a reliable cruiser, and it was time for a rebuild. I pulled the engine myself (my first engine pull!) and dismantled it down to the longblock. My shop took it further apart, and I handled all the cleaning. They’re building the longblock, and I’ll take care of the rest of the assembly. The car always started right up and ran fine, but I noticed my buddies were just pulling away… and I also smelled burning oil... some pictures of what we found inside the engine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ![]() a piece of ???? ![]() toast ... ![]() a bit oily ? ![]() something has been bouncing around ![]() |
