I just received this replacement turn signal switch and noticed it a little different; the original switch has two copper bat wings on the top. The replacement only has one.
1. Is this gonna be a problem ?
2. What are the copper bat wings for ?

Make sure the 4 slot head screws that hold the switch inside the column aren't over tight. they're there to hold it in place - not hold it down. Also make sure they're evenly tight. One corner tighter than the other makes it crooked and it'll bind.

Tried that, no change; the switch is the Beatle replacement, looks the same except for the single horn contact. And, I can hear a click after completing a turn, but the switch lever won’t rerun ???
