This comes directly from one of the yahoogroups that I monitor.
At the same time, it's quite UNbelievable & Believable ALL at the same time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) "Anyone out there interested in some steel flares? I thought that I was on a waiting list from Auto Atlanta, but when I call to check on them I wasn't on there list to get the flares at the intro price of $650. But he said that he would sell them to me for that price if I bought three sets. So I need to see if anyone would be interested. It will save $300 a set". As Steve Austin likes to say: WHAT?! |

I don't think the original message was an *offer* from AA.
Like IF you'll buy 2 more sets, we'll give you a discount. It was more like, "no, you're lying mr customer, you didn't have a deposit with us. IF you want our 'super-duper' flares at THat price, you'll need to buy 3 sets of them". Does no one Not see that? Andrew: yeah I am thinking of doing some flares, see the Green car here: http://www.ultimate914.com/MOTORSPORTS_WE/...DARD_BODYx.html 3rd car in the 3rd row. 4-lug with flares: I've had my 914 fuchs widened to 7-inches, so they should look just fine with the flares.
