Is it at all possible to bolt on a set of 1.7 or 1.8 heads to my 2.0? I'm not looking for power, just reliability, and I have a budget

The tube diameter is smaller on the 1.7/1.8 runners (problems in mating to the plenum), sheet metal is different..you would need 1.7/1.8 cylinder covers (different spark plug location).
And, just a stretch, not sure if the runner length is the same. Can be done, but..... Need a set of 2.0 heads? |
