Hi ,All any body know where I can get one of those hold downs for an optima that is radiused for the battery? thanks all AL

what you want to find is a Group 78 Adapter. try calling 888-8OPTIMA. they will give you a list of retailers that probably don't have any in stock. then call them back, explain the situation and they might send you one direct. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) these items are degined to work perfectly. why hassle with grinding, test fitting, grinding some more to try to make the stock clamp work? there was a guy with a box full of the adapters at the goodguys show last year. i should have grabbed ten of them.
