I took my 914 to school today and everything was working fine. After school, I hop in the car and turn the key, nothing. The battery is charged, the starter works when shorted, but I cant get it to turn over using the key. The car still starts with a push start but nothing with the key. I checked all of the connections to the starter and the battery and everything is fine. Do you think that the ignition switch has gone out and if so is this an easy fix? I have other ignitions avalible, but I like that my keys work with the locks on the car. Help!!

Ok, I shorted the correct poles and the motor turned over, so the starter is not the problem. I disconected the seat relay thingy and no change either. So unless you guys have any other ideas, I am guessing it is the ignition switch. Do I need to replace the whole switch or can I fix it? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)
