Joe O'Brien and Liz (his passenger) left Flagstaff just after 1 p.m. headed for Las Vegas. We had a hurried, but nice lunch together. Joe is sweating making it to Las Vegas in time for getting the car into the shop.
There was some sort of mixup with the departure of the caravan from Albuquerque this morning so the Suburban with Scott Thacher's teener on the trailer were probably about an hour behind Joe & Liz. Scotts's Subaru/914 is still doing just fine, it's just on the trailer because there was no point in driving the Suburban and the teener. Joe's 914RS is also doing well. Cruized along nicely at 75 and not a single problem. It's too bad that lunch ended up being such a small crowd, but there's still an opportunity when the gang head's back East again. Just let me know! Here's a pic of Joe & Liz as they were about to leave Flagstaff. Attached thumbnail(s)
