and you're at a stop light, 2 things either happen... it's usually,
1. "hey! cool car!" 2. They start revving their engines and want to race! This happens all the time to me here in good ol Bremerton, WA! I crack up, because even though deep in my heart I know our cars are a low end Porsche model, they assume it's a race car....All they see is the Badge and in my case, P O R S C H E on my sides and all of a sudden "ITS ON!" Just wondered if this happens to you.... CYA at the stop lights!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving-girl.gif) |

Ha, there actually still is somewhat of a drag scene on Mchenry(however it is spelled) but its all Rx-7,Integra,civics and what not. I've never had anyone rev there engine trying to race but I get people looking over at me (when Im in the A4 cause its lowered suspension, exhaust and nice wheels so I guess they think I'm a threat or something who knows) at stoplights and try to out accelerate me, but fail. The A4s not even that quick they just have crappy civics with a crappy looking bodykit and cheap ugly wheels. And no I'm not trying to race them but I like accelarating to the speed limit or a little above as quick as possible. I do the same thing when theres no car next to me(ha, probably why my gas goes so quick) Actually its mostly from highschool to college age hicks in ther lifted truck (i'm not attacking lifted trucks) I guess they think they have to prove something or compensate for other areas that are lacking. I still think there should be a law against lifting your truck too much. I don't want one of those morons running into my car at a stop light or merging on me when they cant see my 914 |
