After installing the Wevo side shift, do not put any fore/aft preload on the casting when you mount it in the car. In other words, don’t force it to line up with the transmission mounts. Modify the transmission mounts if they don’t align with the Wevo casting. The PO (or his mechanic) preloaded mine and it eventually snapped off the mounting ears. I had to remove the Wevo casting and have the ears TIG welded back on the casting. I then modified the mounts to eliminate the preload problem.
