I wasn't making a swipe at you... or germany, sorry... mainly a swipe at Alfie.. supposedly, during "that time" Hitler had the "B" (sorry, I don't know how to make the proper esset) looking symbol replaced with the 2 lightning bolts... mainly for "official" business... the typewriters for nazi germany even had the special keys replaced, removing the "B" as I recall... later germany, of course, cut all ties with that... this is how my german prof in college explained it, but she wasn't a history prof, just German... if I am wrong, I'm very sorry Greetings to you too, From Texas... sorry, my German is more rusty than my car... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) I got greetings, but I had to look up air-cooled... I knew it was air-something though, do I get partial credit (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) |
