Thought it would be obvious, but cannot find an easy way to adjust the idle on a '73 with D-Jet? It runs fine until it warms up, then it idels at about 100 RPM - when it stays running?

#1 problem is that guys adjust the idle speed with the AAR valve partway open, the engine only warm. Engine heats up to operating temp and the AAR valve closes and Bingo! idle speed is at 300 rpms. Huh (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif) You can just plug the AAR valve hose and then set it...but thats cheating.
