I was told once by some old body shop guys that the lid could be shaped slightly by a heavy hand. They said to put some boards under the lid at a pivot point and then to work it with your body weight.
I'd suggest asking a body shop and try it out on an old junker lid first. I have an extra lid that I need to practice on myself. Cheers, Nate |
